Last October 18, 1998 we conducted a Bingo Social as our fund raising activity. For 1999 we thought of making something different. Since it was during the month of December when we decided to raise funds for the second time, caroling was the preference of the majority.
We then formed the Batch '74 Choir wherein all of us were members. Reynaldo "Reyrod" Rodriguez was appointed as musical director (whether he like it or not). He and yours truly were designated official guitarists. Rey was a very strict musical director - he scolds us during rehearsals, but we liked it. It was his way of imposing discipline that turned out to be a successful one.
We practiced almost every other night despite our difficult schedule. Thanks to REY, GIA and MARLYN for allowing us to use their homes as venue.
